Cost of Rescue Kitties
So far I have rescued 11 kitties from being gassed to death. Pulling the kitties was a cost of $20 per cat. I had 1 female and 1 male cat fixed and UTD on all shots and vaccinations at a cost of over $750 at my personal vet. That was before I got 3 more kitties fixed and UTD on all shots, except the FIV shot (they tested neg) at a cost of $65 each. I also had to take 3 of the kitties to the vet for meds when I first got them to the tune of $200. One other kitty was tested for FIV per request of a potential adopter, $47.
Total cost to date, approximately $1192. I was given $200 from a kind soul who adopted one of the kitties to put toward my costs. I also hope to get back $132 from the potential adopter who requested the earlier FIV test.
